Soe Soe is a prominent Burmese artist and painter. He was born in 1967 in Laputta, Ayeyarwaddy Division, Myanmar. At the age of 18, Soe Soe decided to devote his life to painting and became a full-time artist. Since then, he has extensively exhibited his work both in Myanmar and abroad, including in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, and the USA1. His preferred medium is acrylic on canvas. Soe Soe’s artworks capture the vibrancy of sunlight dappling the beautiful rice fields of the Northern Shan State in Myanmar. The vibrant energy of his works combines with rich jewel hues to attract viewers’ attention, rejuvenating and delighting them.
